Conference “Post Europe: 3 approaches for the future of Europe in a global perspective”

The conference tackles “Post-Europe” through 3 approaches that could shape the future of Europe in relation to the global context: art for social change, commoning and post-industrial design. Besides, these approaches are central within the philosophy of Project LABattoir, and as such, have contributed, through talks, workshops, theoretical research and practice, to the conceptualisation and design of the project’s tools for the activation of community and public space: Freevolous City Stage and the Mobile Studio.
Thanks to the Mobile Studio the conference is broadcasted live on LABattoir's YouTube Channel, providing the possibility to members of the FREIRAUM network and other audiences to watch and contribute to the discussion taking place in real time through the submission of comments or questions.
The conference will close with a live music interaction with the installation “Post-Europe: a work in progress”.

Συνέδριο “Post Europe: 3 προσεγγύσεις για το μέλλον της Ευρώπης σε μια διεθνή προοπτική”

Το συνέδριο έρχεται να απαντήσει στο θέμα “Post-Europe” μέσα από 3 προσεγγίσεις που θα μπορούσαν να διαμορφώσουν το μέλλον της Ευρώπης σε σχέση και με το διεθνές πλαίσιο: την τέχνη για την κοινωνική αλλαγή (art for social change), το μοίρασμα (commoning) και τον μετα-βιομηχανικό σχεδιασμό (post-industrial design). Οι προσεγγίσεις αυτές είναι εξάλλου κεντρικές στη διαμόρφωση του προγράμματος LABattoir, που μέσα από τη σχετική συζήτηση, εργαστήρια, έρευνα και πρακτική, έχει σχεδιάσει δύο εργαλεία για την ενεργοποίηση του δημόσιου χώρου και της κοινότητας - τη φορητή Σκηνή Επί Πόλεως και το Φορητό Στούντιο.
Με χρήση του φορητού στούντιο μάλιστα, το συνέδριο θα μεταδίδεται ζωντανά μέσα από το κανάλι του LABattoir στο YouTube, ώστε να έχουν τη δυνατότητα μέλη του δικτύου Freiraum, και άλλοι ενδιαφερόμενοι, να το παρακολουθήσουν.
Η μέρα θα κλείσει με μια performance εντός της εικαστικής εγκατάστασης “Post-Europe: a work in progress”.
